GPS — 02 December 2008
Nikon’s hot-shoe geotagging device, the GP-1, has finally gone on sale. It’s pretty bare bones looking aside from the 2 LED lights, which indicate the following: Red blinking (GPS data not recorded), Green blinking (GPS data recorded utilizing three satellites), and Green solid(Four or more satellites detected, GPS data are more accurate). The GP-1 is compatible with the D200, D3, D700, D90, D300 and just released D3X.
I looked for it online to no avail, but you can expect it to cost $240.
