MEDION Introduces 3 New GPS Units With Finger Print Readers: GoPal P5235, 5435 and X5535

Although nothing beats a beastly steel chain, finger print scanners can still deter a thief or two, especially if it renders the product useless.

MEDION today announced 3 new GPS (GoPal P5235, 5435 and X5535) units that sport not only voice control and 5-inch LCD touchscreens, but finger print readers that can store up to 5 user’s prints.  In addition to Biometric security, all units include FM traffic updates, while the GoPal P5235 adds Bluetooth and the flag ship model, the GoPal X5535, includes a built-in gyrometer that keeps track of speed and direction in the event that a GPS signal isn’t available.

The GoPal P5235, 5435 and X5535 are currently available in select EU markets, but no word on price.
