iPod — 22 December 2008
I know, I know, car receivers or head units with built-in USB ports are nothing new. But Kenwood’s latest, the I-K50 not only features a USB input and headphone jack, but provides complete iPod control without having to lay a single finger on the wildly popular player. You can also plug in standard USB flash drives with tunes stored on board, but you’ll have to settle for alphabetized navigation. Other features include 50w x 4 max power, dB equalizer and FM/AM radio.
No word on a US release but you can expect it in Japan for about $260.
