Everything needed to have your very own walking robot is included in this ready-to-walk MechRC Humanoid Robot kit from Trossen Robotics. The kit includes: high torque metal gear servos, LiPo batteries for longer run times, a fluid 3D visual software programming interface for easy custom motions, and a remote control unit. The more than one hundred pre-installed motions and sounds make the MechRC Humanoid Robot a very versatile playmate that can dance and fight, even straight from the box.

The MechRC Humanoid Robot will soon be available via Trossen well in time for Christmas. Although it is not badly priced considering that many of its ilk run over 1.000 smackeroos, the MechRC still remains no impulse buy. Kids are sure to love it, but whether it will win their hearts over cheaper game consoles remains to be seen.
