Home Theater Touch Sreen — 17 November 2008
Name aside, the Touchdiva doesn’t look to be a half bad piece of kit. It’s a 15.4″ touchscreen device with 125W ICEpower (Bang & Olufsen-manufactured) amps inside and connects to the Net (WiFi or Ethernet) to provide access to over 2 million songs – they’ve got relationships with 4 major labels ((Warner, EMI, Sony-BMG and Universal). The device itself only has 2 buttons; on/off and reset, and you’ll need some speakers to hear all that streamed goodness.
The TouchDiva is set to launch in Europe December 1st for $1,100. And those 2 million songs, they’ll cost you $13 a month for unlimited access. Sorry, no word on a US arrival.
