Laptops — 27 November 2008
Really, a Hello Kitty laptop is hardly a surprise. Adult toys branded with the Hello Kitty design on the other hand is a totally different story. Digression aside, Onkyo is behind this here laptop but they’ve seared it with their SOTEC brand, tossed in an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, Intel 945GSE Express chipset, 120GB hard drive and Windows XP. For a netbook the 2.1 hour battery life is pretty poor and the other specs, which surely are moot to any Hello Kittyphile, is a 10-inch 1024×600 LCD, WiFi b/g, 3x USB 2.0 ports, 1.3MP webcam, and an SD card reader.
The C101K3W is available in Japan for ¥69,800( (about $730 US).
