S1 Audio ‘NxSet -Music1′ Headphones: What Are They?

The ‘NxSET -Music1′ from S1 looks more like a brain control apparatus for a prison camp than a pair of headphones, but that’s exactly what it is. Say what?! This Jody Laford looking device takes the place of a pair of headphones. It straps around the users neck and projects sound towards the ears thanks to the built-in speakers and “high-fidelty” amplifier that is said to produce “rich bass, crisp, clear middle and high range sound”. Yeah, I’m skeptical.

The ‘NxSET -music1′ looks to be flawed from the get go, though, design aside. It sports an antiquated 2.5mm jack and requires 2 AA batteries.
