Microsoft has gone the rather novel route of decking out their Zune players with art work in the hopes of building an allegiance.  I’m not sure if it’s worked, but the Gears of War 2 Zune got enough press to make the big wigs in Redmond happy as pigs in poop (I used poop because I think it’s funnier than ‘shit’ – there I said it).  Today they unveiled their latest Artist Series Zunes, which includes work from Dalek, Gemini and Emil Kozak – I have no clue who they are.  Nonetheless, the players look more valuable and will no doubt illicit a conversation or two.
