Ha!  Take that Blackberry owners!  Okay, maybe it ain’t worth getting into a pissing contest over smart phones, but being an iPhone owner (Gen 1) I take pleasure in knowing that my device is considered more reliable than a Blackberry, which is often the point of comparison when it comes to which smartphone is better.

The study was performed by SquareTrade who sells extra warranties for cell phones and other devices.  The study looked at 15,000 phones over a 12 month period.  Blackberry’s batteries were twice as likely to go awry compared to the iPhone, as with call quality.  Both phones had equitable issues when it came to keyboard or screen issues.
