Samsung, which has long built notebook computers, has finally entered the US laptop market with the announced availability of the Q310. The 4.4lb machine features a 13.3-inch 1280×800 LCD screen, Intel’s Centrino 2 processor, 3GB of DDR2 RAM, Intel GMA 4500MHD, DVD burner, webcam, WiFi N and 6-cell battery. The lower end Q310 (Q310-34G) sports the slightly slower 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 processor with a 250GB hard drive, while the higher end version (Q310-34P ) boasts a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processor and a 320GB hard drive.
