Netflix Adds Two More Blu-ray Players To Their Instant Streaming Service

Just when you thought you found the perfect Blu-ray player, the LG BD300, Netflix goes and teams up with yet another Blu-ray player manufacture and blesses it with Netflix streaming. So how do you score this wonderful unlimited streaming action? Via a free Firmware upgrade of course, but it’s only available to owners, or soon to be owners of Samsung’s BD-P2550 and BD-P2500 Blu-ray players. Additionally, Netflix says they expect to add this feature to other Samsung products.

And this whole time I thought there were some special hardware components inside the LG BD300 that enabled Netflix streaming. I wonder how LG feels? It’s been just days since the release of the LG BD300 and they can’t be none too happy.
