Aderra sent me a handful of their USB wrist bands. They’re each preloaded with media, such as videos, music and one sheeters. Course, the Obama ’08 wrist band was the most topical given that the election is just 9 days from now. Contained on the Obama band are videos of his speeches, official political documents and more. It’s pure genius, really. Not only can you show your ‘pride’, but you can show others what it’s all about if there’s a near by computer available.
I talked to Brandon, an Aderra consultant, and he explained that they’re able to attend a conference or event, record the action and transfer it to 1000s of wristbands almost instantaneously. Then when attendees are leaving they can sell or give out the wrist bands either furthering the cause or monetize what was once a one time memory. Labels are a sure fire fit, since bootleggers attend concerts and then sell the recordings to patrons or upload it for the masses for free. Those with political or philanthropic causes (think Lance Armstrong’s cure for cancer) can go the extra mile beyond ‘look at me’, and truly show people what they’re all about.
If you’re interested to learn more, hit up Aderra’s website or drop them a call at 800-430-8189.
