‘Another one Sony?!’ I hear you say, well yes, Sony today announced yet another notebook in a long line of releases, but this one is different. It contains a Blu-Ray player and other features commonly seen in the more expensive high-end products, and still manages to keep a price tag of only $1000. With a 15.4-inch screen and new Intel 4500 graphics it comes in blue, grey and silver and will ship this fall. A base system is also available for $650 with 3GB of memory instead of the Blu-Ray’s required 4GB of memory.
