Samsung today announced their new R610 Blu-ray laptop aimed at making a dent in the multi-media market. Sporting a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels it supports full HD and with a 16:9 aspect ratio it makes viewing those HD movies even more enjoyable. The machine itself has an array of specs including a 1.3 megapixel web camera, 4GB of RAM, 320GB hard drive, WiFi and Bluetooth. However, if you’re a gamer this definatly isn’t the laptop for you, carrying an entry-level nVidia GeForce 9200M GS graphics card you’d only want to be playing pacman and tetris on this machine.
The R610 seems to be a fairly good all rounder and we can expect a realease in October with a price of £799.
