Got 12-inches?  No problem, because Panasonic’s latest Toughbooks can survive a dinger of that height. That is of course you’re so butterfingers you lose grip of the built-in pop out handle.  The three new models, F8, W8 and T8, each share similar specs, but differ in screen size (the T8 is touchscreen), processor speed and hard drive size.  Using the same processor as Sony’s latest laptop, the Vaio TT, the latest Toughbooks also sport a magnesium allow chassis, spill resistant keyboard, 3G technology and 802.11n WiFi.  Looks like they’re slim in trim, with the heaviest weighing in at 3.7lbs.

Panasonic’s 8 series Toughbooks are out sometime this November.
