Europe is saturated with speed cameras. Much like the red light cameras that we have here in LA, they measure your speed, snap a photo if you’re breaking the limit and automatically mail you a ticket in the mail. To combat this injustice a database, and no doubt websites have been created detailing their locations. The CamerAware app puts this information on a portable devices and provides real time speed camera coordinates thanks to built-in GPS. Fortunately, we don’t have speed cameras here in LA, just yet, but this would make for a fantastic iPhone app, at least for red camera locations.
