Gadgets At A Glance: Powershot SD990 and SD880 IS
What is it: Canon’s latest point and shoot digital cameras
Features: DIGIC 4 image processing for advanced face detection and motion technology, self timer, Servo AF, and self adjusting 3-inch (2.7-inch for the 990) Purecolor LCD II. The SD990 has 14.7 megapixels and 3.7x optical zoom. The SD880 has 10 megapixels and 4x optical zoom. They’re available in a varity of colors, while the red, which commemorates the 100 millionth Powershot camera manufacture, will only be available at Canon’s online store.
