Dell Unleashes 1080p 23-inch LCD Monitor: S2309W

Standard issue 22-inch LCDs are 1680×1050.  Straying from the norm, Dell added an inch of real estate to the S2309W LCD and pumped in a 1920x1080p resolution.  Other specs include 300 cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio, DVI and VGA inputs and a 5ms response time.  For the Blu-ray computer user this will be warm welcome, although at 23-inches I’m not sure if the extra pixels do much more than make the text all the more teeny-tiny.

Ships in 1-2 weeks with no price mentioned.
