Clarion have announced that their new internet navigation handset MiND will be released in November at a price of $649.99 and €649.99 in Europe. They have also said that a 3G version is expected to come in Spring 2009 also.

So let’s recap on the capabilities of MiND. Carrying 512MB of RAM, 800MHz Atom processor with 4GB of SSD memory it will also include Bluetooth and be featuring GPS provided by SiRFstar. With a 2.4 inch screen you will be able to browse the internet with Linux 2.6.22 and Flash can be played for YouTube viewing etc. Battery life varies from 2hrs to 4hrs.
