Looking oh so HTC Touch, interface wise that is, Asus has rolled out it’s first ever handset call the P552w (the ‘w’ should denote white). The foot print of the device looks smaller than the iPhone or the Touch, and it will sport a 624MHz processor, 3.5G HDSPA connectivity, Windows Mobile 6.1 OS, WiFi, and some sort of custom application called Multi Home that is supposed to make managing music and photos a snap. Like the iPhone, expect a slew of other apps to be included including an RSS reader, YouTube and Flickr viewer. Memory, which is 256MB flash, can be expanded via microSD card slot and content is viewable thanks to the 2.8-inch 240×320 touchscreen.
No word on price or availability.
