Adobe’s Flash Confirmed For The iPhone

Unfortunately, it’s just not that simple. During a town hall meeting Paul Betlem, Adobe Systems’ senior director of engineering, responded to an audience question about the existence of Flash for the iPhone. His response, to paraphrase, “My team is working on Flash on the iPhone, but it’s a closed platform”. In other words, Adobe has been working on Flash for the iPhone, but it’s up to Apple when and if it will hit the computer makers handset.

It’s worth noting that Flash is a huge processor hog which means battery drainage.


Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
