Rumors surfaced that Nintendo DS may be updated with new, bigger screens with touch functionality on both. Hot diggity, if this were to happen, I’d throw my arms in the air and exclaim, “who gives a crap?” Now, if the “DS1.5″ were to be updated with an OLED screen, improved processor, and silver metallic finish I might be more prone to ooh and ahh.

Is the update likely to happen? Well, the PSP update is coming out and they have a penchant for updating their handhelds so I’ll go with a definite…maybe. Perhaps a slightly bigger, brighter screen with more exterior colors but ixnay on the dual touchscreen (doesn’t need it, IMHO). And you can quote me on that, unless I’m wrong.
