It’s interesting that the consumer electronic manufacturers are still producing DVD players, especially ones like this that are so cool looking.  In reality, DVD still sells better than Blu-ray, so hence why.  The LG DVS450H is a super slim and hip looking DVD player that can be placed on a wall or table top (orientation is variable).  It can apparently output at 1080, but doesn’t contain a Blu-ray or HD DVD drive.  It does feature a USB input, which allows for an external hard drive to be attached and supports DivX HD and Xvid-HD (there’s your HD).

The LG DVS450H will probably hit the EU first, if any at all, and cost over $200.
