Cell Phones iPhone — 25 July 2008
Don’t get too excited, because there isn’t a ton to tell, or get here. Wired got a screen shot of the iPhone 2.1 beta download screen. Currently this version is designated for those ‘dedicated to iPhone OS 2.1 beta development’. That should read ‘not you’. Apparently, the update improves GPS by adding speed and direction that you’re traveling, but still no turn-by-turn action.
I’ve got a Gen 1 iPhone, so hopefully it’ll fix some of the App bugginess I’ve been so graced with.
