I just bought this laptop, there’s a bluetooth button, I tried to turn it on to enable bluetooth but it doesn’t work, so I guess this model doesn’t have bluetooth?? but then why there’s a button?
Acer laptops do not have bluetooth, thay need to have an adaptor
Well shoot. Circuit City sent me an advertising email (11-9-08) with a link to specials on laptops. This model of Acer was listed for $499. (plus free printer, router, and Microsoft software), but it’s not available in stores or online. Kinda wondering why they even mention it (with the deal being so tempting and all – I would have gone for it), since they don’t have it in stock. There doesn’t seem to be any way to get one from the next delivery, or get a rain check, or ask when it might be available. There is no Circuit City near where I live, so it’s not like I can go and ask them. Hesitate to call, because I figure they’re busy and won’t know when the thing will be in stock, if they’ll hold one for me, and if I can still get the sale deal. Disappointed, because it sounds like just what I need at a price I can afford.
As to the bluetooth question, I didn’t realize no Acers have bluetooth capability, but I did see in the description of this particular Acer that it doesn’t have bluetooth (something I don’t need in a laptop anyway.)
