Sanyo Eneloop batteries are efficient rechargebale batteries that don’t suffer from the same draw backs as today’s rechargeables. Amazon has a great deal on the AA and AAA.

The Duracell Pre-Charged Rechargeables are also low-discharge NiMH batteries and hold a charge very well. They’re a lot easier to find than the Eneloops and pricing is extremely reasonable.
