Cell Phones — 17 June 2008
The guys at Laptopmag got a hands on with the Garmin Nuvifone. What did they think? They loved the UI and thought the phone was pretty solid. GPS and Internet connectivity weren’t yet hooked up and the phone crashed when launching the camera – so those have yet to be tested. But hey, it’s still in promo stage with kinks to be worked out. From the sounds of it the interface is very intuitive and easy to read. Todd from Laptopmag, who got the hands on, was able to knock out the word ‘happy’ without any keyboard training.
The 3.5-inch screen phone will be available Q4 2008 for a currently undisclosed price and provider.
Head over to Laptopmag for the complete ‘hands on’ and plenty of pics.
