After reading the reviews I took the plunge and purchased the Audioengine AW1. Wow!

I am using it as part of my home theater system. The AW1 sends a single from my receiver to my sub woofer (I am using a yamaha sub not the AudioEngine A8 mentioned in the reviews). Since the kit only comes with one power adapter I had to come up with a way to power the AW1 receiver . Using a USB iPhone ac adapter (the output power happens to be the same as the adapter that came with the AW1) this problem was over come.
