Loremo AG Super Efficient Diesel Now Includes An Electric Version

The Loremo AG, originally announced as a 157 MPG diesel, is now expected to release an electric version in tandem. The diesel version sports a 20 hp diesel motor, a top speed of 100mph, and a 0-60 in 10 seconds. No fancy converters or hybrid schemes; just a straight up efficient diesel. It’s electric brethren will boast a range of 150 – 200 km, an engine output of 20 kilowatts with bursts of 40 kilowatts, and will presumably have better pick up than the diesel version in light of its electric drive train. Both versions of the car are expected by early 2010 or late 2009.
