V-Moda Vibe Duo: Are They THE Ideal Headphones for the iPhone?
October 1st, 2007

I took me sometime, but I finally found what just might be the best corded headphones
You can pick them up at Apple for $99.95. Unfortunately, Amazon only has the non-mic versions but the price drops about $30 if you don’t care about an ‘all in one’ solution. Looks like you can get them direct from V-Moda for $101 and that includes shipping and tax up to $20. Update: Amazon now has the newest version of the Vibe Due Headphone which includes playback control. Available for $99 shipped.
Apparently, V-Moda is releasing a new pair of headphones tomorrow. I am waiting to hear back from their media rep any minute now.
Update: As mentioned above, V-Moda released an updated version of their Vibe Duo Headphone today. The updated version includes a playback control button located in the mic - the mic is now slightly larger on the new version. Turns out that V-Moda worked directly with Apple to produce this product and did so in just 6 weeks! I am anxiously awaiting a pair for review so stay tuned.

I’ve been a V-Moda fan for quite a while. I’ve tried the high-end Shure’s and I was not pleased with the frequency range. For paying over $300, I thought I was ripped off. So I returned them and got my full refund. The first V-Moda inner canal headphones I’ve owned was suddenly the best ones I’ve ever own for less than $100. So I thought, since I got the iPhone, I needed a better headphone than the subpar Apple headphones. The darn thing kept on falling out of my ear. The sounds that come out of those Apple headphones are good, but I can still hear the outside surroundings when listen music. The V-moda Vibe duo came into mind. I thought what else can go wrong with any V-Moda line? I ordered a pair from V-Moda and my Vibe Duo’s should arrive early next week. I did however ordered the ones with the multi-function call button. Since I heard the complaints with the earlier version. I know I won’t go wrong with this version.

Commens is also good way to quickly test if there is a market for a new product not yet developed. The marketer can perhaps perform a survey on the page to learn if there’s interest on a new item and/or technology possibly entering the marketplace. Obviously, such research may require having a solid marketing budget, but the knowledge gained could be priceless
