Apple.com’s Traffic is Top 10

July 16th, 2007

According to comScore, Apple.com is now a top 10 web property.  In May traffic rose to 120 million unique visitors, a 5% increase over April.  The increase can be attributed to iPhone interest.  I had no idea that Apple’s site drove some much traffic.  Surprised they haven’t jumped on the banner ad boat.  With that kind of traffic they could be making $3.6 million/month in banner advertising (not accounting for page views just uniques) assuming a $30 CPM.  Course this would piss a hell of alot of people off and probably canabalize their computer business…just sayin’.
