“Mars Attacks� Audiophile Speakers for $9000

Check out these crazy speakers. Created by former BMW designer Aonghus O’hEocha and aptly named after him, they look like they’re from the movie “Mars Attacksâ€?. They cost a mere $9,000 and deliver a bass response as low as 25Hz (don’t think humans can hear that but can probably feel it). There are a “single-piece hyperboloid enclosures are made of aircraft grade aluminum and a PVC/steel composite, reinforced by 3/8″ diameter horizontal and vertical bracing rods that ensure maximum rigidity and minimize sound wave distortions.â€?
