I have looked at a lot of product and found this to be the best. It's appealing to the eye and appears to have a rugged enterior that includes a strong carrying handle that also doubles as a base. The speakers look as well as sound solid and are well proctected. What I really like was how the Ipod can be safely and securely stored within the boom box to ensure that it is not damaged when in use. The Isplash also can be used with any MP3 player with it's universal adapter, as well as the optional one for Ipod that allows one to both play a charge one's unit simultaneously. The only thing that could be improved would be the volume of the unit, however, unless one needs head pounding sound, this unit should prove to be both durable and usefull in many, if not all situations.
