Forecasting Umbrella Defeats the Purpose

Forecast Umbrella

The Forecast Umbrella reminds me of the luggage stores at the airport – if you know you’re going on a trip why would you buy luggage before you get on the plane. Same goes for this device – why would you want an umbrella that’s going to tell you it’s gonna rain if you already have the umbrella? The handle glows stronger as the chance for precipitation increases, and receives information via WiFi.

The question was: “why would you want an umbrella that’s going to tell you it’s gonna rain if you already have the umbrella?”

Well, sometimes can be very useful to have your umbrella suggest when to take him out with you…

Just keep that wonder near your door and take a peek at it before going out, it’s somewhat like by looking out the window!
