17″ MacBook Pro Released

17Apple finally released the 17″ version of the Intel-powered MacBook Pro.  The 17″ version features a 2.16 Ghz Intel Core Duo, 1 GB SDRAM, 120 GB hard drive, and an 8x SuperDrive.

Another notable feature?  The 17″ MacBook pro features a FireWire 800 port.  So much for FireWire support being dropped.

They’re shipping in 7-10 business days for $2,799.
