The trick is to start on a low gear like 3 once you get rowing pop it to 7 , and it really starts moving and a great pull . I've owned one for a while now and you can go about 20mph.. They added gears and a thing that doubles the chain so you get twice the power with each pull. Hope this helps! :) The new rowbikes rock!
