Nike Files Patent for Cell Phone w/ Apple Named
According to Macsimumnews, Nike has applied for a patent regarding a phone that perhaps incorporates the use of some Apple technology. Although the patent doesn’t revel much about the device other then its ‘ornamental design’, Macsimumnews did point make an intriguing connection between the two companies. Apparently, Timothy Cook, Apple’s Computer’s chief operating officer currently sits on the Nike board. Check out the full article which contains additional details about the Nike handset, but to give to summarize some the excerpt the patent hints at a device that can emit a communication through a tactile interaction, such as squeezing the phone. This could be useful for those in situations where they can not speak or reach the phones microphone.
