Remember that semi-indestructible MP3 player called the Monolith MX7000 that we featured back in December? Well, its back and sporting a larger 1GB and 2GB capacity (original size was 512MB.
Notables of the past and present player are the player’s slick aluminum finish and the fact that it could take a bullet – albeit a BB gun bullet – be run over by a car, and hurled against a brick wall and keep on playing. Other features included a 19-hour playback time, line in recording, FM recording, and compatibility with multiple audio encoding formats.
Available here for around $200 and $260 respectively.

Great mp3. Survives me, so it has to be good. Has been dropped on train tracks, only got a couple of scratches. But the screen is really annoying. In strong light its a mirror and you can’t see the menu.
i work outdoors and need something that will live thru me and this seems pretty nice…where could i get one of these now i cant seem to find anything but reviews of it on the internet but no store where i can order it?
