According to Peter Moore, Vice President of the Entertainment Division of Microsoft, the XBox 360 shortage is almost over. Moore says that “”Within the next four to six weeks, anybody will be able to walk into a store and buy an Xbox 360.”
Moore also announced that currently 54% of XBox 360 owners use XBox Live. Compare that to the 10% of the original XBox.
The XBox Live Arcade has also been very successful. There’s been over 2 million Xbox Arcade downloads already, and conversion of the demos has been off the hooks. 36% of people who downloaded the demo of Geometry Wars went on to purchase the game. Myself included.
