ATI X200 is nothing it das not support DX10 and the 3d performance is bad as on all onboard GPU. I am running Vista RC1 On PM 1.73 Radeon X600 and the 3d mark Index droped 1000 points between Win XP and vista. If you want to play Halo 2 it is time for new computer or laptop with good GPU.

i would get 1gb ram to be sure.. on 512 the beta seems to take up an enormous amount of system processes. about 50-60% if you use the side bar and ms office 2007 beta 2. it tends to lag on mine quite a bit. i also hope they solve the wireless connectivity problem has rc2 addressed the wireless issue?

[...] Contrary to our previous thoughts, and indicating websites, it looks like the consumer level Windows Vista OS will be delayed until January 2007. Good news is that business customers should be receiving the new OS as expected in November of this year. Microsoft plans to release six versions of the new OS: two for business, three for consumers, and one for emerging markets. The names of these products will be: Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise, Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows Vista Starter.
