I hate laundry so damn much. In fact, just a few days ago, I was designing a machine in my head that would sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold your clothes. Luckily, Oliver Blackwell, a University of Plymouth graduate, actually sees his ideas to fruition via the WashDryIron. (I guess that’s why those who can, do; those who can’t, blog)
The WashDryIron is a 4 compartment washer / dryer / iron that will handle up to 16 articles of clothing at a time. You insert the clothes already hung on a hanger.
Blackwell thinks the WashDryIron should retail between £800 to £900 or around $1,400 to $1,600.
Not bad. I’ll be more impressed when I dump my clothes into a basket and they come out folded. Making me put stuff on hangers? Shame on you Oliver. Though, I give you credit for one upping Siemens Dressman.
