Last time I needed to check my skin was after that night in…just kidding ;). The USB Skin Sensor is ultimately a glorified macro camera, but what’s neat is that it includes some software that provides a digital representation of a person so you can note what body part was snapped for examination – could be good for those with family skin cancer history. The camera can magnifiy at 50x and 250x. Not sure on price or where available, but its form factor looks to be ideal for checking ear wax levels.
