
Sony Ericsson announced the new Sony Ericsson M600 smart phone today. The M600 is a smart phone running Symbian OS 9.1 with a reduced-sized QWERTY keyboard.
The M600 will feature a 2.6″ touchscreen QVGA screen with handwriting recognition.
The M600 will also feature MP3, AAC, AAC+, E-AAC+, and m4a playback over its audio out connector and wirelessly over stereo Bluetooth.
The M600 will feature 80 MB of internal memory and is expandable via a Memory Stick Micro. A 64MB Memory Stick Micro is included.
The Push E-mail support will be similiar to the P990, feature support for all major partners, including BlackBery Connect and Microsoft Exchange.
The M600 will feature Bluetooth, Infrared, and USB 2.0 for connectivity.
The M600 should be available in Q2 2006 in two varieties: the M600i for Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and the Americas and the M600c for Mainland China.
