Quarter Sized 10 Gig Hard Drive
Remember that Toshiba drive that squeezed a whopping 4GB into a package slightly larger then a quarter? Colorado manufacturer Cornice is doing one better by producing a hard drive with a 10 gig capacity in a similar size (40 x 30 x 3.5mm). Purportedly, Cornice has also laid claims that the Dragon Series Micro HD is rugged enough to withstand jogging and repeated drops to the floor. Furthermore, the micro drives should consume half the power of their former HDs resulting in extended battery life wherever these HDs end up.
