Nintendo DS Digital TV Tuner

Nintendo has announced a digital TV tuner for its popular Nintendo DS handheld. The TV tuner will make the DS and DS Lite capable of receiving 1seg broadcasts in Japan. This service is set to launch in April throughout Japan. Currently, many cell phones support this soon-to-launch service.

The DS will show the station on the top screen, while the bottom is used to input channels. No launch date or price was given.
