Alcohol Breath Test Pen

Knocking back a few cold one’s with your buds is always a good time. Getting pulled over afterwards aint. To avoid these unforeseen moments in your life – yes I am referring to a DUI – all us drinkers should be carrying an Alcohol Breath Test Pen. Just blow into the apparatus for a few secs and if the LED lights green, your good to go, red and your hoofing it home. The device also signals dangerous UV exposure, because after all who else but alchies drink during the day?

It should be noted that different US states — and, in this case, different countries — have different connotations of legally “drunk”.

Sometimes it’s .08, sometimes it’s 1.0 (those are just the two I know of here in the US). It’s unclear from what I read WHAT the pen is using as a guide.

Caveat emptor: While you may not be drunk by the pen’s standard, you may still very well be drunk by your local policeman’s standard …

so this product may sound good,…………..but if you are actually using this as a guage to see if you can drive, then you probably shouldn’t. i’m not saying that it doesn’t work, because i’ve never tried it, but all i’m saying is that if you need something saying that you may be allright to drive home, you are probably not OK to drive anywhere.

if you’re thinking about a cab, thats probably the best idea you’ve had all night, so run with it. take that idea all the way to the bank.

I heard that in a breat test it comes out positive with only one drink; if that is true then this is useless. If it is not true then this would be useful for the people who drink alot.

Recently I was at an event where Liqour and Beer is sold. I don’t drink but as I was leaving a Police officer was holding what looked like an Ipod and as I left thru the gate appeared to be testing me for something. Is there an Ipod to test your breathe from a short distance for any reason while you leave or enter an event.
