Yamaha NX-A01: Bluetooth Speaker System

Yamaha has announced a new speaker system — the Yamaha NX-A01. This tiny stereo speaker cube with 4 Watt output has a line in inputs to play music from your portable device. Nothing special.

However, when hooked up to the optional Yamaha TRX-R01BT Bluetooth receiver attachment (pictured below), you can wirelessly play tunes from your Bluetooth device (like your cell phone).


Although the NX-A01 is being touted as a portable speaker, it does require to be plugged in to the wall. It does not use batteries.

Both devices should be out in middle of February. Neither have an announced price.
