Toshiba has announced the Toshiba W41T, a cell phone with a 4 GB hard drive. Sure there’s been other cell phones announced with hard drives, like the delayed Nokia N91, however, this cell phone will actually be on sale in Japan next month. That makes the Toshiba W41T the first cell phone shipping with a 4 gig hard drive.
The official specs:
- 240×320 2.4″ TFT screen and external 160×33 monochrome display
- 4 Flash 1.1 menu choices (popular in Japan)
- Bluetooth and USB
- 280 hours of standby and 210 minutes of talktime
When connected to a computer via USB, the hard drive will mount, allowing you to drag and drop songs. Not as clean as say an iPod, but it will get the job done.
Available in 3 colors: black, white, and green.
