Okay so we’ve seen integration between the iPod and a jacket. We’ve even seen the iPod hook into your belt. But what about the man who needs an iPod compatible pair of jeans?

Thanks to a partnership between Apple and Levi’s, we’ll all get our wish. The new Levi’s RedWire DLX Jean is the first iPod compatible jean. The integration includes:

  • iPod docking cradle built “invisibly” into the jean’s side pocket.
  • Joystick remote control is externally designed into the jeans’ watch pocket
  • Retractable headphone unit has been built directly into the jean

And yes, it’s still machine washable. Available Fall 2006.

Update: Real pic here.

I prefer something a little more form fitting, thanks. I think they should have put this tech in the Dockers it fits that crowd. What’s next Apple, Levis and Ikea wear?
