Programmable and controllable via a remote, the Programmable LED license plate can store up to 4 messages, or one long 120 character expletive. Made of stainless steel, comes in 147 red or blue LEDs, and starts at $50. Wonder if it is battery operated or hooks up to your tailgate? Now, only if the LED was slightly larger.

is it electrical or does it hook up to the tail light system?
it taps in to the power of your brake lights but im gonna wire it to a remote switch so it will go on when i want it to. and im impressed with the quality of it too. it doesnt look like a cheap pice of shit .
